Wooloomooloo Group is a Western restaurant group known for its steakhouses in Hong Kong. It runs Wooloomooloo Steakhouse and Prime, with locations in Tsim Sha Tsui and Wan Chai. The group specialises in Australian Wagyu and premium steaks, and Australian steak is its signature. Prices sit at around HK$1000, placing it in a higher tier for the city. It holds a rating of 3.0 on Google, which points to a mixed but measurable response. The setting follows a steakhouse style, with a composed atmosphere where lighting and table arrangement set a pace suited to longer conversation. This suits business meals, anniversaries and more formal gatherings rather than quick casual dining. On the plate, the emphasis stays on the beef itself, with grilling drawing out texture and richness while sides and sauces support rather than compete. A meal usually moves from starters through the main to dessert in order. Service is attentive, with staff adjusting the timing of courses to the table's progress. Compared with more relaxed steakhouses nearby, the difference shows in a clearer sense of price and occasion, letting diners choose to suit the moment. Diners visiting the Tsim Sha Tsui or Wan Chai branches can expect a menu centred on Australian beef. The group's multiple brands give it a broader presence across the city. Wooloomooloo Group keeps its focus on premium steak rather than on variety across many cuisines. It remains a higher priced Western steakhouse option in both districts.
