Harp Family is a Hong Kong music centre devoted to harp teaching, running classes from first lessons through graded exam preparation, with performance and competition opportunities and a free trial lesson. A single-instrument studio tends to be more systematic than a general music school about progression: the tutor knows which repertoire belongs to each stage, when an instrument upgrade genuinely makes sense, and how to prepare for the practicalities of an exam, including the recording and the sight-reading. For parents, that clarity is worth a lot, because harp study involves decisions about renting, buying and transporting an instrument that most families have never faced before. The centre also arranges performances, which gives younger players an audience before they meet a formal adjudicator. Course stages, lesson arrangements and contact details are listed on the website.
